We welcome you to the First Baptist Christian School website. FBCS began in August of 1976 with 35 students, that number has fluctuated over the years with as many as 100 students in grades kindergarten thru 12th grade. We hope that each student who enters our classrooms will find a friendly, Christian atmosphere. It is our desire that each one will attain his/her full potential. We will do our best to love each student that God gives us. You will find us fair but firm. First Baptist Christian School provides a Christian education for a world that needs educated Christians.

CURRICULUM

Kindergarten-Second Grade

AbekaLogo

Our kindergarten thru second grade program offers a solid academic foundation in reading, writing and arithmetic. We use the Abeka curriculum which has a history and reputation of excellence in these areas.

At FBCS we recognize that children are uniquely created by God with special gifts, curiosity, creativity and a sense of wonder. The primary years are important as children are molded through discovery, exploration, experimentation, and creation. Our experienced teachers partner with parents to provide an environment which fosters learning and development.
